aSTEAM Village Virtual School 3rd Grade Math Bundle

The purpose of the aSTEAM Village Virtual School Math Bundle is to provide families with a set of sequential lessons that are based on the local states and Common Core State Standards.

These lessons focus on four (4) critical areas:

​

(1)  developing the understanding of multiplication and division, as well as, strategies for miltiplication and division within 100;

​

(2)  developing understanding of fractions, especially unit fractions (fractions with numerator);

​

(3)  developing understanding of the structure of rectangular arrays and of area; 

​

(4)  describing and analyzing two-dimensional shapes

​

These challenging and engaging lessons provide opportunities for students to strengthen their understanding of these critical concepts. 

​

Students will be empowered to learn at their own pace, to pause, think and discuss, to rewind or even go fast forward.

​

Working towards mastery of these four (4) critical areas, students will be well-prepared to build upon their Algebraic Thinking and understanding of Unit Fractions.
